Building Services Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer with a strong construction background to manage and coordinate building services and MEP works for residential, commercial, villa, and high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, with strong knowledge of site execution, coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover. These are also common requirements in current Bahrain building‑services/MEP construction roles.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise building services and MEP works on construction sites.
• Oversee installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate building services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and installation quality.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, MEP clashes, and site coordination problems.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and provide updates to the Project Manager.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant construction/MEP experience.
• Strong building construction background is required.
• Experience with villa, residential, commercial, or high‑rise projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Good understanding of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Good knowledge of construction procedures, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred;
  Bahrain experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Immediate joiner preferred.

• Candidates with strong hands‑on Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on high‑rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects, will be given priority.
