Service Advisor

Job Overview

Perform all activities related to the inspection of incoming vehicles for repair and service operations in addition to recording customer concerns. Communicate and coordinate with Workshop and other divisions to process customer inquiries and ensure total customer satisfaction. Inspect delivered vehicles, close job cards, and prepare invoices accordingly.

• Answer customer calls and prepare vehicle service schedules accordingly.
• Inspect incoming vehicles into the Light Vehicle Workshop.
• Open vehicle receipt notes and record any abnormalities in the body of the incoming vehicle, in addition to recording any existing fixtures.
• Take customer acknowledgement accordingly.
• Note on the vehicle receipt any inquiries required by the customer during repair or service operations.
• Coordinate with Service Inspectors and the Senior Service Advisor on the process of opening job cards and follow up on vehicles in the Workshop.
• Perform final inspection on repaired and serviced vehicles to ensure that customer complaints and inquiries were addressed by the Workshop and that the vehicle is clean.
• Prepare invoices for the performed jobs at the LV workshop after closing job cards.
• Schedule the activities of the Light Vehicle Workshop, delegating tasks to the job holder as required.

• Certificate from a Vocational or Secondary School.
• Minimum experience of 3–5 years in similar jobs.

• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Customer focused, able to understand customer requirements and handle complaints with hospitality.
• Knowledge of technical aspects related to light vehicles, preferably KIA products.
