Customer Service & Logistics Intern

Responsibilities- Customer Service Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding order status, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Assist in resolving basic customer issues and escalating complex problems to senior team members.
- Maintain accurate customer records and interactions within our systems.
- Provide timely updates to customers on their orders and shipments.
- Logistics Support:
- Assist with tracking shipments and coordinating delivery updates with carriers and internal teams.
- Help verify and process logistics documentation (e.g., shipping labels, proof of delivery).
- Support basic data entry for logistics activities and inventory movements.
- Communicate with warehouse personnel or third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
- General Support:
- Assist with data collection and basic reporting for both customer service metrics and logistics performance.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects aimed at improving customer satisfaction or logistics processes.
- No prior experience required, but an interest in customer service, logistics, or operations is a strong plus.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
- Eager to identify issues and contribute to solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team.
- Quick learner, able to grasp new concepts and systems rapidly.
- Meticulous approach to data entry and record‑keeping.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Must be able to commit to the full 2-month internship duration.
- Software Proficiency:
- Microsoft Office Suite:
Proficient in Word, Outlook, and basic Excel (e.g., data entry, simple formulas). - CRM/ERP Exposure (Bonus):
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite:
- Strong desire to provide excellent service and build positive customer relationships.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Capable of interacting professionally with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Ability to gather information and identify patterns in data.
