The Orthodontics Faculty Member (mOrth RCSEd) will serve as a core academic and clinical educator within the dental and allied health education portfolio, based on‑site in Manama. This full‑time role involves planning, delivering, and evaluating orthodontics teaching sessions, including lectures, seminars, case‑based discussions, and hands‑on clinical skills training. The faculty member will supervise learners in clinical and simulated settings, support treatment planning exercises, and ensure adherence to evidence‑based practice and international orthodontic standards.

Responsibilities include contributing to curriculum development, aligning course content with accreditation requirements, participating in assessment design and examination processes, and providing mentoring and academic guidance to learners. The role also encompasses collaboration with other faculty members, participation in quality assurance activities, engagement in professional development, and supporting outreach or institutional projects that enhance the Center’s academic profile.

• Current Membership in Orthodontics (mOrth RCSEd) or an equivalent specialist orthodontic qualification, with eligibility to practice and teach within Bahrain’s regulatory framework.
• Advanced clinical expertise in orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and contemporary orthodontic techniques across diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated experience in dental or orthodontic education, including classroom teaching, clinical supervision, and competency‑based assessment.
• Strong curriculum development and academic planning skills, with the ability to align learning outcomes to national and international accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in evidence‑based practice, clinical research literacy, and the ability to integrate up‑to‑date scientific knowledge into teaching materials.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage adult learners and support a collaborative learning environment.
