The Architect role at FA DESIGN is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Manama. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and models, and producing detailed design documentation across multiple project phases. Day‑to‑day tasks include coordinating with clients and consultants, conducting site visits, and ensuring that designs comply with local regulations, codes, and standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to integrate structural, MEP, and other technical requirements into cohesive architectural solutions.

The Architect will also support project planning, monitor design progress, and contribute to timely, on‑budget project delivery while maintaining high design quality.

• Strong architectural foundation, including skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience developing concepts through to construction documentation.
• Project coordination and Project Management abilities, including planning tasks, managing timelines, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with integration of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other systems, ensuring cohesive and buildable solutions.
• Familiarity with software development or related digital workflows is a plus, particularly for integrating design tools, automations, or BIM-related processes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and strong visual communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or progress toward registration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and permitting processes, with the ability to apply them in design and documentation.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work on‑site in Manama and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
