The Interior Designer – Kitchen Department is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Manama. This role is responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts, including cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and finishes that align with client needs and Atlas Aluminum’s product offerings.
Day‑to‑day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing concept designs, preparing detailed drawings and 3D renderings, and selecting appropriate materials and FF&E for kitchen projects.
The Interior Designer collaborates with sales, engineering, and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost‑effective, and aligned with construction standards. Additional responsibilities include revising designs based on feedback, preparing documentation for approvals, and maintaining consistent brand and quality standards across all kitchen projects.
Qualifications- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential kitchens and related areas.
- Knowledge of architecture principles and ability to coordinate with structural and MEP requirements.
- Proficiency in creating detailed construction drawings and documentation for fabrication and installation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, appliances, and hardware aligned with project budgets.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar tools) and basic 3D visualization skills.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into practical design solutions.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; experience in kitchen design or joinery is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes and installation practices in Bahrain is beneficial.
