As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for performing advanced endoscopic procedures, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Your expertise will help drive innovation and enhance our gastroenterology services within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal conditions in a clinical setting.
- Perform endoscopic procedures, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and current medical guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory documentation standards.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of gastroenterology practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and trainees.
- Medical degree with completed residency training in Gastroenterology
- Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
- Current, valid medical license to practice in Bahrain
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic and diagnostic procedures
- Strong analytical, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
