Dr. Hala Alsayed Health Training Center, a division of Dr. Hala Medical Group, is seeking to appoint a full-time Professor of Orthodontics to serve as Program Director for its postgraduate orthodontic training pathway, as part of an advanced membership-level accreditation initiative with one of the Royal Colleges.
This is a senior, full-time academic leadership position for an accomplished orthodontist with strong academic credentials and international postgraduate training experience.
Role OverviewThe Program Director will have full academic and administrative responsibility for the orthodontic membership program, ensuring alignment with international college standards and best practices in postgraduate orthodontic education.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Program Director for the postgraduate orthodontic membership pathway
- Lead curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and academic governance in line with Royal College standards
- Oversee faculty coordination, examiner engagement, and academic quality assurance
- Deliver advanced orthodontic teaching at postgraduate and membership level
- Lead accreditation processes, audits, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Mentor trainees and junior faculty members
- Represent the Training Center in regional and international academic forums
- Fellow or Member of one of the Royal Colleges (mandatory)
- Recognized academic appointment (Professor / Associate Professor or equivalent senior academic rank)
- PhD and/or specialty qualification in Orthodontics (DDS/DMD with accredited orthodontic training)
- Proven experience in postgraduate orthodontic education and program leadership
- Strong academic portfolio including teaching, curriculum development, and scholarly activity
- Prior experience with international accreditation or membership programs is highly desirable
- Based in the Kingdom of Bahrain
