This is a full-time, on-site Education Counselor role based in Manama. The Education Counselor will guide prospective students through their international education journey, including course selection, institution matching, and application preparation. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing academic and career goals, and providing information on study destinations, entry requirements, and admission processes. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up on leads, and supporting students through application, offer, and visa stages.
The Education Counselor will collaborate with internal teams and partner institutions, participate in events and information sessions, and contribute to achieving individual and team targets while delivering a high‑quality, ethical advising experience.
- Strong foundation in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to explain study options, pathways, and requirements clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, supporting learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear written and verbal communication, and culturally sensitive interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Prior experience in international education, admissions, or student advisory services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM or student management systems and basic office software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, customer‑focused mindset.
