The RoleYou will be teaching English at secondary level, including middle and senior school grades through the British curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum KS3 – 5
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well‑being
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in education or a relevant teaching subject
- Valid teaching licence/current teaching registration preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g. QTS)
- Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range
- Experience with the British Curriculum is essential
- Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, is an advantage
