The school follows a traditional British through‑school model, offering a structured and continuous learning journey from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Secondary School. Located in Manama, Bahrain, the school serves families from across the capital and surrounding areas. It delivers the English National Curriculum from Early Years through Secondary and Sixth Form and incorporates Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies and Citizenship into the curriculum.

You will be teaching English at secondary level, including middle and senior school grades through the British curriculum.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum KS3 – 5
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well‑being
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in education or a relevant teaching subject
• Valid teaching licence/current teaching registration preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g. QTS)
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range
• Experience with the British Curriculum is essential
• Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, is an advantage
