RoleYou will be teaching music at secondary level, including middle and senior school grades through the British curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum KS3–5
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment, with a strong focus on student well‑being
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor’s or post‑graduate studies in education or relevant teaching subject
- Valid teaching licence/current teaching registration, preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g., QTS)
- Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range
- Experience with the British Curriculum is essential
- Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage
