The Role

You will be teaching History at secondary level, including middle and senior school grades through the British curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum KS3 – 5
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well‑being
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's / Post‑graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject
  • Valid teaching licence / current teaching registration preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g., QTS)
  • Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range
  • Experience with the British Curriculum is essential
  • Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, is an advantage
  • Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students
