Position: KS2 Teacher – Aug 2026

KS2 Teacher required for August 2026 at international school in Bahrain.

Contract: 2 years (renewable)

The School: The school follows a traditional British through‑school model, offering a structured and continuous learning journey from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Secondary School, with a class and form‑based system that ensures clear academic progression and a supportive environment where pupils develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging.

The Role

You will be teaching KS2 cohorts within the British curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well‑being.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in education or a relevant teaching subject.
  • Valid teaching licence/current teaching registration preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g., QTS).
  • Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the relevant age range.
  • Experience with the British Curriculum is essential.
  • Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage.
  • Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students.
  • Flexibility and resilience required to work in a team at fast‑growing schools.
