Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in Manama for an ACCA and Advanced Financial Modeler (Financial Modeling Institute – FMI) instructor. The role involves delivering classroom-based training in ACCA subjects and advanced financial modeling, using structured lesson plans and real-world case studies. The instructor will design and update course materials, develop practical exercises, and guide learners through exam preparation and applied modeling projects.

Responsibilities include assessing learner performance, providing feedback, offering academic support, and collaborating with the centre’s team to maintain accreditation and high teaching standards. The role also requires staying current with ACCA syllabus changes, FMI standards, and best practices in finance and modeling.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications: ACCA membership or equivalent professional accounting designation; FMI certification in advanced financial modeling or similar credential.
• Technical expertise:
  Strong skills in financial modeling, advanced Excel, corporate finance, financial analysis, and valuation methods.
• Accounting and finance knowledge:
  Deep understanding of IFRS, management accounting, audit and assurance, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Teaching and training skills:
  Experience in classroom instruction, curriculum development, lesson planning, and learner assessment.
• Communication and interpersonal skills:
  Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, engage diverse learners, and provide constructive feedback.
• Technology proficiency:
  Comfortable using learning management systems, presentation tools, and digital resources to support teaching.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience training ACCA candidates or finance professionals in an academic or corporate setting is highly desirable.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
