STATIC Mechanical Technician
Job DescriptionStatic Mechanical Technicians are responsible for maintenance of non-rotating (static) equipment in petrochemical / refinery plants.
Static Equipment Includes- Valves (Butterfly, Globe, Ball, Safety Valves – all types)
- Heat Exchangers
- Piping, Flanging & Gasket Replacement
- Tanks, Pressure Vessels
- Columns / Towers (including Prilling Tower Cleaning)
- Hydro Testing
- Welding & Cutting Support
- Small Boiler Maintenance
- Inspection, dismantling & assembly of static equipment
- Gasket cutting, replacement & flange tightening
- Supporting welding and hydro testing activities
- Compliance with HSE, Permit to Work, Hot Work & Confined Space procedures
- Safe execution of shutdown maintenance activities
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery Shutdown
- Strong HSE awareness
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
