At AECOM, we deliver infrastructure solutions worldwide. This graduate program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to transition from student to professional.

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per discipline requirements, working under supervision.
• Assist with design content, ensuring high‑quality outputs within project timelines.
• Perform work following the agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
• Collect and analyze information from discipline and interdisciplinary BIM models when required.
• Use computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers as applicable to ensure continuity of design process.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Verify quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy.
• Seek information and opportunities to contribute, and develop efficiencies.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to solve atypical assignments.

• Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) of Science in Civil / Coastal / Maritime Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum academic background in coastal processes and marine structure design (concrete quay walls, jetties, beach armoring, etc.).
• Recent graduate – graduated within last 24 months (no earlier than September 2024).
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Master’s degree may be started within 12 months of completing a bachelor’s to ensure continuous education.
• No more than 1 year post‑graduate work experience.

• Onboarding:
  August – September.
• Program kickoff & orientation:
  October 2026.

All newly‑hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
