Job Title: Technician – Instrument

Department: Project Management (Technical Services)

Direct Supervisor: Lead – Electrical and Instrument

Date: 30-Dec-2025

Responsible for executing instrument commissioning and startup activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project standards. Supports smooth transition from construction to operations by validating instrument functionality and reliability.

• Perform instrument pre‑commissioning and commissioning tasks as per approved procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards during all activities.
• Coordinate with construction and operations teams for seamless handover.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument‑related issues during startup.
• Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities.
• Support loop checks and calibration of field instruments.
• Assist in system integration and functional testing.
• Report progress and highlight risks to supervisor promptly.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.

• Internal: Commissioning team, Operations, HSE, Maintenance
• External: EPC contractors, vendors, Third‑party inspectors

Educational level: Diploma in Instrumentation or related field.

Years of

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in instrument commissioning and startup.

Required background and knowledge: Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, loop checks, and calibration.

Required soft skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
