K provides Contingency Base Operations, Stabilization, and Infrastructure support services under Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and related task orders.
K is seeking an HSE Specialist who will implement and support health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for operational employees. The position is responsible for conducting site inspections and preparing detailed incident reports to verify compliance with regulatory requirements across all HSE areas.
This will be an onsite position with fulltime deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain.
Roles And Responsibilities- Under general supervision, perform assignments requiring practical experience and knowledge of standard HSE concepts and practices.
- Evaluate situations, analyze potential solutions, and apply established procedures while continuing to build advanced technical competencies.
- Coordinate and facilitate audits of company-operated facilities and projects, ensuring adherence to established policies and external requirements.
- Collaborate with operations personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to interpret applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of systems, processes, and tools to capture, analyze, and report HSE performance data and metrics.
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant HSE experience.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, audit processes, and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge and experience working with government contracts.
