We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Transport Planner to join our dynamic team in Kingdom of Bahrain. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the delivery of transport planning services for projects, ensuring effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of transportation in one of the world's most rapidly developing regions

• Lead and coordinate small to mid-size project teams, overseeing transport planning tasks and projects
• Conduct comprehensive transport studies and provide expert technical guidance in areas such as traffic engineering, smart cities, and transport modeling
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex transportation challenges
• Manage project deliverables, task allocation, presentations, and reports to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Engage with clients as a key point of contact for projects and proposals
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor and manage team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the transport planning department
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to maintain the organization's competitive edge
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and stakeholder consultations

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field (required)
• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering and Planning (preferred)
• Membership in a professional institution or society such as CIHT, ICE, or TPS
• Eligibility for chartership/certification/license from a recognized professional body (e.g., P.E., P.Eng., CEng, Chartered Transport Planner) is preferred
