About Company & Role Purpose
A leading banking institution is seeking an Analyst, Corporate Credit Risk to assess and analyze credit applications for both new and existing corporate credits. The role involves in-depth credit analysis and formulating risk recommendations for senior management and credit committees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ,ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- General Conduct detailed assessment and analysis of credit applications for both new and existing corporate credit facilities.
- Perform comprehensive financial and credit risk analysis, including evaluation of borrowers' financial performance, business profile, industry dynamics, and repayment capacity.
- Prepare and draft Risk Authorization Reports (RARs) and supporting credit analysis in line with internal policies and credit standards.
- Formulate independent risk assessments and recommendations for Senior Management and Credit Committees, highlighting key risks, mitigants, and proposed credit structures.
- Review credit proposals submitted by Corporate Banking and assess compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and risk appetite.
- Liaise extensively with Corporate Banking and internal Risk Management stakeholders to obtain required information and facilitate timely processing of credit applications.
- Support the preparation of committee submissions, approval memoranda, and other credit-related documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Preferable: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong credit analysis, financial assessment, and report‑writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Sound knowledge of corporate banking products, credit policies, procedures, and banking operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound judgment and decision‑making capabilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
