We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to take ownership of financial management and reporting across a diversified group of businesses operating in Bahrain. This position is suited to a finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial awareness. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, planning, forecasting, liquidity management, controls, compliance, and financial analysis across multiple entities.
Experience with in financial services is an advantage. We are also open to finance professionals from technology, IT, manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, retail, hospitality, or other multi‑business environments, provided they have demonstrated experience managing complex finance functions.
- Financial Management & Reporting - Oversee the finance function for multiple companies, business units, and operations. Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and useful for management decision‑making. Monitor revenue, margins, operating costs, working capital, liquidity, and overall financial performance. Develop management reports and provide meaningful analysis of business results.
- Planning & Commercial Analysis - Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises. Manage cash‑flow projections and liquidity planning. Build financial models to support business plans, investments, and strategic initiatives. Analyze costs, profitability, business performance, and potential areas for improvement. Assess new business opportunities and investments from a financial and commercial perspective. Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on financial data and business trends.
- Controls, Compliance & Risk - Maintain effective financial controls across the group’s businesses. Develop and improve finance policies, procedures, and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, tax, financial, and regulatory obligations. Identify financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Coordinate internal and external audit activities and follow through on audit findings.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Lead, supervise, and develop finance personnel across different business operations. Partner with senior management on strategic planning, growth initiatives, investments, and financial decisions. Maintain effective relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions, regulators, consultants, and other external stakeholders. Work with operational teams to improve financial discipline and business performance. Adapt finance processes and reporting approaches to the needs of different industries and business units.
- Process Improvement & Transformation - Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve financial efficiency. Drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes. Support ERP implementation, optimization, and integration initiatives. Introduce automation and digital tools to improve finance operations. Strengthen reporting systems, controls, and financial data quality across the organization.
- Education & Professional Background - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or an equivalent credential is preferred. At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting. Minimum 3 years in a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or comparable leadership position.
