Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Properly store medical supplies, consumables, equipment, and non-medical items according to hospital standards.
- Issue materials to departments based on authorized requests and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, especially for critical care supplies.
- Perform regular inventory counts (daily, monthly, and annual) and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Accurately update inventory transactions in ERP/Oracle systems, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
- Generate inventory reports, stock movement reports, and expiry reports using ERP/Oracle.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper handling and disposal of expired or damaged items.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and clinical departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the store area at all times.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) for inventory and materials management.
- Experience handling medical and non-medical inventory in a long-term care or hospital setting is highly desirable.
