Position Overview

VAM Systems, a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company, is seeking a Security Architect for our Bahrain operations. The role requires a blend of experience, education, certifications and specialized training.

  Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect, Secure Software Development & Programming

• Proficiency in technology stacks for application development and web applications, with a focus on secure application design.
• In-depth knowledge of IT risks, cyber security, and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
• Strong design capabilities using programming languages like Python, Java, and others.
• Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security architecture.
• Familiarity with network protocols, source code reviews, and OWASP Top 10 security practices.
• Understanding of frameworks used in application development.
• Knowledge of security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access controls, and segmentation.
• Expertise with DNS, routing security principles, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDoS mitigation technologies.
• Experience in the architecture of information security systems.
• Project Management skills for coordinating security initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.

• Perform security analysis and develop robust security architecture for the Bank’s Group environment.
• Ingrain security solutions across systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to embed security into all stages of application life cycle.
• Conduct source code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and recommend mitigations based on OWASP Top 10 and other best practices.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of security posture and respond to incidents in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on secure design, architecture, and implementation to cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry security requirements for banking and financial services.
