VAM Systems is currently looking for Sr. Information Technology Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

You must be able to manage fully all Microsoft’s/non-Microsoft core business applications and operating systems, On-Prem and Cloud Environment (Azure/AWS), in addition to fully the network and security in the organisation. This includes all the devices, software, workstation, and server hardware.

This role is a key position within the service department and will be called upon to resolve the highest level of technical issues.

• Provide technical services for the following areas:
• Microsoft and non-Microsoft Products.
• Deploying of new project/Product.
• Upgrade any of the current system.
• Managing Infrastructure this will include on-prem and cloud environment.
• Advanced working knowledge of Windows server 2019/2022 maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, migration, & upgrade.
• Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory 2022/Azure AD, DHCP, DNS and how it works in complex environments.
• Advanced working knowledge in latest Linux Servers OS, creation and management.
• Management of all Microsoft related technologies:
  Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Apps (Desktop-Web-Mobile) Office 365, Visio, MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Storage Online, Intune 2307, Microsoft Defender.
• Implementing and managing Conditional Access Policy, Windows Information Protection, Identity Protection, MFA. Implementing Security systems as per requirements.
• Creations and management of AWS EC2 Instances, Security Groups, S3 Storage, Storage Gateway, RDS
• Network configuration and management.
• Palo Alto firewalls and Cortex Antivirus, Qualys Cloud Platform.
• Management Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure.
• Management of all Virtualization technologies:
  Microsoft Azure, AWS
• Monitoring and management of servers/systems alerts and notifications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Veritas Backup Exec, Altaro Backup & Replication, and Recovery.
• Advanced working knowledge in IP Cloud Telephony integrated with Teams.
• Resolve all the issues related to IT infrastructure & Network.
• Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
• Active participation in all on going and upcoming IT projects. Providing technical support, documents & reports and feed backs for the IT projects. Coordination with the clients and suppliers for IT requirements.
• Perform other duties and related tasks as may be required from time to time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years, experience in designing and deploying Infrastructure, hardware and networking solutions.
• Experience deploying production applications, solutions, Hardware and networking as stated above in “Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies and Duties”.
• Working knowledge of systems deployment within Windows platform.
• Experience in Infrastructure, Virtualization, Hardware and networking from deployment and maintaining the availability of the service.
• Knowledge of Service-oriented architecture and interfaces Architecture.
• Experience of working with multiple solution partners and systems integrators.
• Can lead and manage on the ground and virtual team.
• Takes accountability and responsibility of the department overall services.
• Good understanding of security issues surrounding applications.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of monitoring of service thresholds.
• Strong attention to detail, Analytical, excellent time management and organizational and able to work in fast, paced, high volume environment.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are required to manage outstanding issues until resolution.
