Contract Type: B2B Freelance / On-Demand Dispatch Support

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to provide on-demand onsite IT support services in Manama, Bahrain.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end users in corporate environments. This opportunity is ideal for freelance IT professionals looking for flexible, project-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite desktop and end-user support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows-based desktops and laptops.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and replace IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN issues.
  • Handle break-fix incidents and service requests.
  • Support device deployments, refreshes, and replacements.
  • Coordinate with remote support and infrastructure teams when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks, incidents, and resolutions.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Abilities
Preferred Experience
  • 3+ years of Desktop Support, EUC, or IT Support experience.
  • Experience providing onsite or field support services.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing systems.
  • Experience working in enterprise or corporate IT environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage dispatch assignments efficiently.
