The Oracle Fusion IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical and functional support for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The role ensures the smooth operation of Oracle Fusion modules, resolves system issues, supports end users, manages system configurations, and collaborates with business stakeholders to optimize ERP processes and system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oracle Fusion Support
- Provide first and second-level support for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, user errors, and process-related incidents.
- Monitor system performance and ensure application availability.
- Escalate complex issues to Oracle Support or implementation partners when required.
- Track and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Functional Support
- Support Oracle Fusion modules such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory Management, and Projects Management.
- Assist users with transactions, workflows, approvals, and reporting.
- Provide guidance on system functionality and best practices.
- System Administration
- Manage user accounts, roles, responsibilities, and security access.
- Maintain system configurations and setup changes according to business requirements.
- Support quarterly Oracle updates and system testing activities.
- Monitor integration processes and interfaces between Oracle Fusion and other applications.
- Reporting / Data Management
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle reporting tools.
- Assist with data uploads, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards.
- Testing and Enhancements
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants on system improvements and projects.
- Support implementation of new Oracle Fusion modules and functionalities.
- User Training and Documentation
- Conduct end-user training sessions and system demonstrations.
- Develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
- Promote user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance and Security
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and internal controls.
- Support audits related to ERP systems and data access controls.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of business data.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or related field. Oracle Fusion certifications are preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Experience in ERP support, system administration, or business applications support.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Understanding of ERP business processes: HR, Finance, Procurement, SCM.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of system integrations and data migration processes.
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with Service Desk Ticketing systems.
