As we expand our Bahrain operations, we are looking for a highly skilled Security Engineer to help us strengthen and protect our clients’ IT infrastructure from cyber threats. If you are passionate about cybersecurity and have hands-on experience securing networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
- Manage firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity & access management (IAM) solutions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and Dev Ops teams to implement security controls in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security operations.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and identity management solutions.
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR compliance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
