RoleThis position is responsible for AWS system administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise geospatial databases. The role requires hands-on expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise installation, deployment, administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, and enterprise database administration. The incumbent will monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and streamline GIS infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Install, configure and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Server, Portal, Data Store).
- Deploy and maintain GIS infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
- Manage PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle and Enterprise Geodatabases.
- Monitor performance and availability of GIS services.
- Troubleshoot GIS servers, AWS infrastructure and databases.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery and security policies.
- Publish and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online services.
- Support GIS developers and analysts.
- Maintain documentation and operational procedures.
- Optimize GIS infrastructure and workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 4-6 years of GIS experience.
