Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, full-time IT Support Engineer to work onsite for one of our clients. The Support Engineer will act as the primary point of contact for end-user technical issues, providing first-line IT support across hardware, software, networking, and peripheral systems for approximately 200 users, and ensuring same-day response and resolution.
The role covers hardware and software support, network troubleshooting, and administrative duties including documentation, reporting, and participation in ongoing IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Support
- Support 200+ users' PCs, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Maintain and service multifunction printers, plotters, and scanners.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on all IT hardware.
- Set up equipment for employee use — cabling, OS installation, mobile device. configuration
- Maintain organized IT hardware inventory.
Software Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 client workstations.
- Manage Office 365 suites, Azure AD, and Intune.
- Install and support all in-house applications.
- Upgrade current systems as required.
- Support production applications, solutions, and hardware.
Network Support
- Configure user PCs and network devices in the network environment.
- Manage Wi-Fi network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN issues.
- Support telephone and VOIP systems.
Administrative Support
- Participate in all ongoing and upcoming IT projects for the Client.
- Provide technical support, documentation, reports, and feedback.
- Track, document, and examine problems to ensure timely solutions.
- Own issues through resolution, escalating when necessary.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualification
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT support.
- Preferably certified in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
- Strong technical skills in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficient with Windows 10/11 desktop support, Office 365 suites, and Intune.
- Solid networking troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Experience with printer & peripheral troubleshooting and VOIP/telephone system support.
