IT Associate

Profile summary
The IT Associate is responsible for supporting the organization's digital transformation by developing and maintaining business applications, automating processes, and implementing data-driven reporting solutions within the Project Controls Department. The role works closely with engineers, planners, and project managers to improve operational efficiency through technology, process optimization, and effective IT support.

• Support digital transformation and system integration initiatives across the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications based on operational requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Automate workflows and streamline processes within the Planning & Project Controls Department.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for departmental applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to identify business needs and deliver effective IT solutions.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend technology improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
• Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by the General Manager – Project Controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with process automation tools and workflow optimization.
• Knowledge of data analysis, KPI reporting, and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with project planning and project controls systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach to identifying and implementing technology improvements.
• Experience in application development, system support, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with business process automation and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in a project-based environment is preferred.
• Exposure to engineering, construction, or project controls environments is an advantage.
