Project Manager - Treasury, Risk, Finance

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of assigned initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Group's business strategy, regulatory requirements, and digital goals.

Lead end-to-end delivery across all assigned projects, ensuring alignment with group-level strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and treasury transformation goals.

Engage senior stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, IT, and external vendors in UAE & KSA, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and timely decision-making.

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and dependencies across: i. Asset Liability Management (ALM) System ii. Deal Tracker Upgrade iii. Treasury Overseas Scope iv. Quantum Upgrade

Establish strong governance frameworks, including steering committees, status reporting, and escalation mechanisms to ensure transparency and control.

Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization across multiple geographies, ensuring efficient utilization and financial discipline.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks especially those related to regulatory compliance, cross-border operations (UAE/KSA), and system upgrades (Quantum, ALM).

Manage relationships with system vendors, implementation partners, and consultants, ensuring delivery against SLAs and contractual obligations.

Ensure all projects comply with central bank regulations, IFRS requirements (for ALM), and local compliance standards in Bahrain, UAE, and KSA.

Drive organizational change initiatives, including training, communication, and user onboarding for upgraded systems like Deal Tracker and Quantum.

Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous testing (UAT, SIT), validation, and post-implementation reviews, minimizing operational disruption.

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking to ensure cost control. Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.

Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across business, IT, and executive levels. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, vendors, and business users. Ensure effective change management processes to support smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Oversee requirements gathering, validation, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery against agreed SLAs. Ensure quality assurance through structured testing phases (SIT, UAT, performance testing).

Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates. Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee system integration efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture. Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and implementing best practices. Support data migration, system cutover, and go-live planning activities.
