We are supporting a leading international financial services organisation in Bahrain that is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Technology team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on Project Manager who enjoys leading technology transformation, managing complex projects and working with senior stakeholders across regional markets.
You will play a key role in delivering technology initiatives, driving business change and ensuring projects deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end technology projects
, from planning and execution through implementation and successful delivery. - Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources and deliverables using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies
. - Drive IT change management, SDLC, release management and project governance
. - Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors and regional stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and compliance requirements.
- Support digital transformation, process improvement and business change initiatives
. - Prepare project reports, dashboards and updates for senior management.
- Ensure projects meet quality, security and regulatory standards.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technology project management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services
, preferably within cards, payments or banking
. - Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid project delivery
. - PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent certification is required.
- Experience in IT governance, SDLC, change management and regulatory compliance
. - Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Celoxis, ITSM or similar platforms
. - Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to AI-enabled project management tools and automation is an advantage.
