- Must be good in administrative responsibilities
- Familiarity with sourcing construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables specific to building projects.
- Ability to maintain and update a database of approved suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors in the construction sector.
- Capability to obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms (delivery timelines, payment terms, and discounts).
- Experience in coordinating with suppliers and site stores to ensure materials are delivered on time and match the required project specifications.
- Ability to track shipping, local transport, and delivery schedules to prevent site delays.
- Proficiency in preparing, verifying, and processing Purchase Orders (POs), delivery notes, invoices, and material receipt reports.
- Basic understanding of site inventory control, minimum stock levels, and coordinating material returns or replacements for damaged goods.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining vendor price comparison sheets, purchase registers, and delivery logs.
- Familiarity with digital goods receipt notes (GRNs), material inspection logs, and stock reconciliation tools to verify site deliveries against purchase orders.
- Advanced or working proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Advanced command of MS Excel (for data tracking, dashboards, and S-curves) and MS Word/PowerPoint (for presentation of reports).
