Machine operator

Job Description

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or system following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs. You will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM and PM standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, that quality assurance activities are performed, understand losses in your area and equipment, and report them.

• Operate and maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.
• Execute all standard work processes using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards.
• Observe safety processes and perform quality assurance activities.
• Identify and report losses in your area and equipment.

• Experience operating machines with coaching.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards for operating machines.
• Strong reading and writing skills and fluent communication in the language of the site.
• Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment.
