A prestigious 5-star resort in Bahrain is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine specializing in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine
. The successful candidate will lead the culinary direction of a signature concept restaurant, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, creative menu development, and team leadership.

Requirements
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Develop seasonal and themed menus aligned with culinary trends and brand standards.
  • Oversee food production and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation.
  • Control food cost and minimize waste through efficient production and menu engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols (HACCP, FIFO, temp logs, etc.).
  • Collaborate with F&B leadership on special events and promotional planning.
  • Mentor and coach sous chefs and junior kitchen staff, fostering continuous development.
  • Oversee kitchen maintenance and place work orders when necessary.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a 5-star or fine dining environment.
  • Strong command of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine
    , from traditional dishes to contemporary presentations.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • High attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Resilient under pressure and comfortable managing high-volume operations.
