Job Summary
A barista prepares high-quality beverages maintains a clean and welcoming environment and delivers outstanding customer service They take customer orders operate coffee-making equipment handle cash transactions and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve coffee espresso drinks teas and other beverages
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar dining area and equipment
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans milk syrups cups and pastries
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Answer customer questions and recommend menu items
- Operate espresso machines grinders and other cafe equipment
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Teamwork and reliability
- Willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques
