Role Requirements Currently based in the GCC Proven experience as a Head Chef within an independent Mediteranean Fine Dining Restaurant Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, mentor and develop a professional kitchen brigade Exceptional culinary standards and a strong eye for quality, flavour, presentation, consistency and attention to detail Excellent knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, purchasing, stock and inventory management and waste control Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards Able to remain calm, organised and effective in a busy, fast-paced and high-volume environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English plus one additional European language or Afrikaans is mandatory
