Executive Chef

We are in search of an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Manama, Bahrain. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

• Plan and develop creative menus that reflect current food trends and meet customer preferences
• Manage food inventory and control costs to maintain budget targets
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they follow proper cooking techniques and maintain high hygiene standards
• Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Oversee purchasing of ingredients and equipment, ensuring quality standards are met
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of meals
• Develop relationships with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
• Strong understanding of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients
• Ability to create innovative menu items while also maintaining classic dishes
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
