- Properly register transactions through the POS system by handling cash and valuables and accurately processing physical and electronic transactions without discrepancies.
- Provide direct and indirect customer service, including handling customer goods and bagging, assisting with instructed store activities, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at checkout counters.
- Ensure proper usage of POS systems, bank POS terminals, and other checkout equipment with care and diligence.
- Contribute towards store sales through suggestive selling and upselling.
- Follow standard cashiering procedures, register online/home delivery sales transactions, coordinate with delivery teams as required, and perform online picking for home deliveries as instructed by the supervisor.
- Follow company SOPs and policies and ensure compliance with and awareness of in-store activities.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely action is taken on short-expiry stock.
Requirement:
- A minimum of HSE with an aptitude for the role or SSC with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the front-end of a service sector company.
- Good communication skills in English. Basic reading and writing in English is a must.
- Arabic-speaking is an advantage.
