VAM Systems is currently looking for an Equation Developer for our Bahrain operations.
Responsibilities- Strong development experience in RPGLE, CL, and SQLRPG, including designing display files, screens, subfiles, reports, and physical files.
- Strong knowledge of AS400 commands and how to handle files, objects, and queries.
- Excellent knowledge of Equation Core Banking back‑end files, data management, and EOD cycle programming.
- Experience programming with Equation APIs and user exits.
- Familiarity with a structured SDLC process, change release management, and control.
- Knowledge and skills in developing interfaces, extracts, reports, and integration with third‑party systems.
- Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the EQUATION core banking system.
- Must have banking and financial services experience.
- 7 – 10 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
