The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, designing and implementing Mendix applications utilizing best practices to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. A deep understanding of the Mendix platform, including its methodologies and tools is essential. The successful individual will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Mendix applications to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements
- Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment within Mendix
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability
- Stay updated on Mendix platform changes, features, and industry trends to enhance application capabilities
- Mentor and support team members in developing their Mendix skills and knowledge
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and changes in Mendix applications
- Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and manage project timelines effectively
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and agile methodologies
- Create and maintain integration solutions with other enterprise systems and databases
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in user training as needed
- Assist with project estimations and resource planning as part of project initiation activities
