Flutter Developer

About the role

We're looking for a Flutter Developer to join one of our clients, a growing technology company, and build high-quality mobile applications for users across the GCC. You'll work closely with product, design and backend teams throughout the development lifecycle, from defining features to releasing and maintaining applications.

• Develop and maintain cross-platform iOS and Android applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services, including payment solutions, maps and push notifications.
• Implement consistent state management using approaches such as Bloc, Riverpod or Provider.
• Write clean, maintainable code using appropriate architecture patterns and reusable components.
• Develop unit, widget and integration tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions.
• Troubleshoot defects and optimise application performance, stability and size.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API requirements, authentication, error handling and data synchronisation.
• Manage app signing, builds and releases through the App Store and Google Play, supported by CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply secure coding practices to protect personal and financial data.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical discussions.

• 3+ years of mobile development experience.
• Experience contributing to at least two published mobile applications, with the ability to explain your technical contributions.
• Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, asynchronous programming and the application lifecycle.
• Practical experience with state management using Bloc, Riverpod, Provider or a comparable approach.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling JSON and using Firebase services.
• Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns, separation of concerns and dependency injection.
• Experience writing automated tests and using debugging and performance profiling tools.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Codemagic, Git Hub Actions or Bitrise.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play submission and release processes.
• Understanding of secure storage, authentication and biometric integration.
• Good communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with native iOS or Android development using Swift or Kotlin, including Flutter platform channels.
• Experience building Arabic-language applications with RTL support.
• Experience with offline functionality, local storage and data synchronisation.
