Truck Driver - Contract Position (Manama, Bahrain)

We are currently hiring for a contract Truck Driver position in Manama, Bahrain. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials from one location to another. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and strong driving skills.

• Operate and maintain company trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload goods and materials using appropriate equipment
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle before each shift
• Report any accidents or issues encountered on the road to the appropriate authorities
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and updates
• Follow all company policies and procedures

• Valid driver's license for commercial vehicles (CDL)
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Familiarity with GPS systems and electronic logging devices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed

This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1600 per month. There may be opportunities for salary increases based on performance.
