We are looking for first officers who have a passion for aviation, a commitment to getting it Right First Time, and a strong Can-Do Spirit, who would like to join our B767 “holding pool” whilst awaiting future employment, in the near to medium-term. • To act as first officer on DHL international aircraft. To operate safely and efficiently in accordance with all company and regulatory rules and procedures.
• The first officer is directly responsible to the commander for assisting in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight. He/she will carry out all duties assigned to him/her by the commander in accordance with company procedures and is qualified to act as PIC for the purpose of taking over control should the person acting as a PIC become incapacitated.
• In addition to the applicable general responsibilities as a flight crew member the first officer will take all reasonable steps to assist the commander in performing administrative duties in relation to the flight.

• The first officer is responsible for assisting the captain to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
  
  He shall ensure that the aircraft to which he/she is assigned is airworthy, properly and adequately serviced and that the loading is proper and secure.
  
  He/she shall make himself/herself familiar with the route and terminal areas to be used and ensure the weather and terminal reports indicate the flight can be made safely.
