AMI is seeking per diem Radiologic Technologist for Saturday coverage in the Brick, NJ office! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice.

AMI offers the 401K retirement benefit to Per Diem employees. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.

The Per Diem Radiologic Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Performing radiographic examinations as directed including general radiographic andfluoroscopicprocedures;
  • Providing for the safety, health and well being of all patients, visitors and co-workers;
  • Responding to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice and performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily;
  • Performing tasks on all assigned shifts to ensure that required patient and office record keeping is accurate, complete and processed as established by policy and procedure;
  • Ensuring that working area equipment, both patient and non-patient related, is hazard-free and that materials and supplies are stocked and available;
  • On a schedule determined by the chief technologist/office administrator, removes dirty gowns and linens from patient areas and washes/dries them on premises as per AMI policy. Must utilize cleaning substances as provided by AMI and as instructed to ensure sanitary outcome; and
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

The schedule for this position includes 7:30am-4pm on Saturdays in Brick. Additional shift coverage is available in Brick and Wall.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for this position must be a graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Must possess valid and current NJ Rad Tech license. American Heart Association or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification (must include hands-on instruction) is required prior to the start of employment. Candidates must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection.
