• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a bricklayer or mason in a construction setting.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and construction site regulations.

• Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training program in bricklaying or masonry.
• Certification in OSHA safety standards or other relevant construction safety training.
• Experience with various masonry materials such as concrete blocks, stone, and refractory bricks.
• Familiarity with modern construction tools and equipment used in masonry work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials needed for bricklaying tasks.
• Prepare and clean work areas, mix mortar, and lay bricks, blocks, or stones in a precise and efficient manner.
• Ensure all masonry work is level, plumb, and aligned according to project requirements and quality standards.
