Location: Manassas City, VA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Pay: $17–$19 per hour

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a reliable and energetic Assistant Teacher / Center Support professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with all age groups and thrives in a dynamic, supportive childcare environment. As part of our center support team, you will assist classrooms, step in as a floater teacher when needed, and help maintain a smooth daily flow throughout the school.

• Support multiple classrooms (Infants–Preschool) by assisting teachers and engaging with children.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment at all times.
• Assist with classroom routines such as activities, meals, diapering/toileting, and transitions.
• Provide coverage for staff breaks and planning periods as needed.
• Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Help ensure the center remains clean, organized, and compliant with state licensing standards.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in multiple classrooms.
• Must meet all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
