Laborer for Construction Project in Marshall, VA Responsibilities

• Basic experience in all aspects of conduit, duct work, and dry utility design
• Familiar with job site safety
• Ensuring proper excavation and compaction procedures are performed
• Cutting pipes to required lengths and assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Checking slopes for conformance requirements
• Rigging up conduit and structures using chains and straps
• Training others in pipe‑laying techniques

• Access to secured facilities
• Ability to operate equipment (a plus)
• High attention to detail
• 1 year of direct experience

Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Regularly required to sit and stand, use hands for detail work, handle or feel objects, communicate verbally and listen. Additional physical demands include walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Vision requirements include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
