Architectural Design Technician (Tool Install)
Manassas, VA (Onsite)
$ /hr
Contract
- Create layout designs in AutoCAD for semiconductor tool installation projects
- Convey requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
- Work directly with client to ensure machine layouts follow code, building standards and client standards.
- Field verify layouts to ensure accuracy of designs.
- Measure and record factory areas for as-building purposes.
- Present designs during review meetings and explain decisions made during design process.
- Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field. Bachelors degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in industrial drafting and design
- Basic experience or familiarity with preparing design drawings across all project phases
, from schematic design through construction documentation, including associated project deliverables. - Experience with semiconductor tool installation
- Experience with project scoping and development
- Proficient in AutoCAD,
Revit (Autodesk) BIM Software, Bluebeam, and Navis Works.
