. We specialize in customized staffing partnerships with industry leading integrators responsible for large commercial projects and government contracts nation-wide. We are currently hiring a Technical Trainer to work in Rayville, LA
. This role is a direct hire opportunity, joining a global team offering continued industry training.
The incumbent works with a growing team of trainers and Subject Matter Experts within a corporate university team environment and is responsible for delivering training, developing training plans, and partnering with Instructional Designers to create and update training materials. The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker who is self-driven to stay up to date on the latest tools and best practices for employee training and performance.
What You Will Do:- Develop and coordinate training schedules
- Assess training needs
- Conduct employee surveys and interviews
- Consult with other trainers, managers and leadership
- Track and compile collected data
- Support the conceptualization and development of training materials
- Communicate training needs and online resources as appropriate
- Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
- Review, test, and provide feedback on training materials
- Provide accurate and timely training reports
- Facilitate employee training and onboarding using approved materials
- Document employee performance and outcomes of training
- Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
- Travel as needed
- Maintain training facilities including daily cleaning and setup
- Must have 5-7 years field industry experience of installation of structured cabling – preferably fiber.
- Telecommunication industry certifications, preferably BICSI.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
